| Make Sense Software's office network was not
affected by the now infamous "Love Bug" that
began spreading havoc on Thursday, May 3rd.
However, when a Technical Support call on Friday
morning resulted in the realization that one of our
clients had been struck by this virus (that can attack
and destroy various file types) Make Sense' staff quickly
responded. Due to the able assistance of Brian
Senecal in Technical Support, and some good fortune,
our client was able to restore their data, using a
zipped data file Brian had created just prior to the
client being bitten by the Love Bug.
In addition, Make Sense
quickly assembled a task force, and before noon Friday
had contacted every Priority Support client, by
phone, to warn them of the dangers of this
"bug" and to offer advice on preventing
damage from such attacks. Many clients expressed
surprise, and gratitude, that a software provider
would provide such an impressive level of
"TLC". For Make Sense Software it
was just another day at the office, doing what we do
best...providing quality support to our customers.
